Home Ships Steamboats Robert Fulton
The Robert Fulton, built at New York Ship in 1909, saw almost forty years of successful service on the Hudson River. She was introduced in time for the Hudson-Fulton Celebration held in October of that year. She made her last run from Albany to New York City on September 13, 1948, bringing to an end regular steamboat service between these two cities that was begun by Robert Fulton in 1807.
